Curry My Favorite Food or Not?
The answer is NO.
I’m 36 years old and all of my life, curry is not my most favorite food. Maybe once a while I will go and look for some curry. Most of the time will be chicken curry or meat curry and that’s all.
We don’t really cook curry at home too. My mom used to cook chicken soy sauce (Ayam masak Kicap) and I liked it very much. My partner when I request her to cook ayam kicap (chicken soy sauce) will ask me back,
Partner: “why do you like ayam masak kicap so much?”
Me: “How do I know?, I just like it”
But to be fair, I grew up eating chicken soy sauce instead of others like curry, tomato sauce and others so that might be the reason behind it. And probably my tongue has been programmed to like chicken soy sauce.
What is that best curry fish?
It’s the TROUT FISH HEAD CURRY!
Sorry, that’s not the real picture because you see, If I get a good food, pictures will be the last on my mind. I better get my tummy full than getting my phone flooded with pictures. 😊
So just imagine a big fish head, immersed in a thick curry gravy. The gravy is thick, plus with the trout fat which melted. That makes it so yummy!
When I met my partner, she once cooked this trout fish head curry and I’m hooked! Once a while I request her to cook it for me.
Sorry I don’t have the recipe but I think the way She cook it, feels like the usual curry recipe, cook the curry, put in the coconut milk, put in the fish and you’re done!

But even if I have it, I will let her keep her secret. I cannot let you guys have it. Sound a bit Greedy? YES, Absolutely.
Actually the real secret is, she is a really good cook. All of her cooking is the best. I was a slim guy a few years ago. After I met her, she constantly cooked good food for me. Now I kinda look like Uncle Vernon in the movie Harry Potter.
